Safety That Watches the Schedule

The hardest thing about running a safety program isn't filling out the forms. It's remembering – at 6:40 on a Tuesday morning, with three deliveries inbound and a sub short-crewed – that today's task needed a pre-task plan, that the hot-work permit expires at noon, and that the new operator's certification lapsed last week. The National Weather Service feed automatically watches every active jobsite, and when the heat index crosses your custom-configured threshold, the alert goes out with the suggested action drawn from your own safety plan – not a generic warning, your program's answer.
And when something does happen, the clock discipline continues. Incident intake works from a phone, offline, voice-narrated if the super's hands are full. The OSHA 1904 decision tree walks recordability with every judgment logged. A severe injury starts the reporting clock with the right agency and channel for that project's jurisdiction – because the program resolves every site's address to the rules that govern it. At year-end, the OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 generate from the record, with hours pulled from time tracking, ready for the posting window.
None of this requires a safety director with a perfect memory, because all of it is wired into the same gap-detection engine that watches budgets and schedules. The scheduled safety talk with no record, the aging hazard item, the JHA due tomorrow – they surface on the dashboard and in the end-of-day nudges, alongside everything else the system caught.
